hey desact glad your enjoying the show,i can't wait to retire this old hissy tape,i'm holding off until the charlie miller transfer coming up this tuesday at shn/flac to download.i'm a charlie miller junkie when it comes to dead downloads.charlie does such a great job fixing the pops, crackles, pitch speed and patches and the seemless transition from cd 2 to cd 3 love it,he should be in the dead hall of fame.

Picking up bits and pieces on Miller (thanks Ashes, Arbuthnot, Dire); can you tell me if he does (did?) early shows (ie, 68-70)?

William, a quick check of my hard drives shows that Charlie does/did early shows. I have C.Miller 4/5/69, 4/15/69 & 7/16/70. If you want any of these let me know. I'm sure there's more out there and maybe even on my drives (I need to organize better).

Thanks Sparky; the good news is piling up. Looks like Arbuthnot beat you to the kind offer, but will keep you in mind.

Only wish I had something to offer in return, but suppose in six months, if this continues, I will!

cm is indeed a pillar of our little community! I agree about the hall of fame (is there one? should we start one?) I never hesitate when I see his name on a download and have never been disappointed. He is aslo personally responsible for getting the new Rhythm Devils shows allowed here. A true Hero in my book!

I know what you mean. But I couldn't wait, so I took 969 first. I'm going for the Miller when it gets seeded. What the hell, it's only a few extra discs and hard drive space to get both! And lately I can't seem to get enough gd. The '73 tour over there (notice how discreet I'm being--don't want to wreck that source, too) is just incredible. I've got 26 shows so far...
